With its mild, sunny Mediterranean climate, theHérault can be discovered all year round. Each season offers a different atmosphere, depending on whether you’re looking for warmth, activity, peace and quiet or cultural discoveries.

In spring (March – April), temperatures hover around 15 to 20°C. It’s a peaceful time of year, ideal for hiking, cultural visits and exploring villages.

In early summer (May – June), the weather is warm but not excessively so, between 20 and 28°C, and the crowds are pleasant. Enjoy the beaches, water sports, festivals and bike rides.

In summer (July-August), temperatures rise to between 28 and 35°C and the atmosphere is very lively. This is the high season, perfect for swimming, seaside parties, harbors and night markets.
