In case you’ve forgotten the rules of pétanque, here’s a quick reminder:

  • Aim of the game: place your balls as close as possible to the jack.
  • Number of players: 1 vs 1, 2 vs 2, or 3 vs 3.
  • Number of balls per player: Tête-à-tête and doublette: 3 balls per player or Triplette: 2 balls per player
  • Jack throw distance: between 6 m and 10 m from the throwing circle.
