Article 2: Rates

2.1 – Application fees

All Bookings are subject to a handling fee (see price list), regardless of the length of stay.

2.2 – Promotional price reductions

Cottage Parks reserves the right to organize promotional operations in compliance with current regulations. The rates applied in the context of these operations are valid only in accordance with the specific conditions of sale linked to these operations and cannot be granted for sales made outside these operations. Under no circumstances are these promotions retroactive or valid after the end of the offer’s validity. As part of an exceptional sales operation, between August 1 and September 15, 2025, Camping La Clape Village offered its customers the possibility of taking out an option for the 2026 season and benefiting from the 2025 rate.

This offer, which is now closed, was subject to the following conditions: it only concerned options booked directly with the campsite (questionnaire, telephone or reception), it could not be combined with other promotions or discounts, the minimum stay was 7 nights, options booked in this way did not constitute a firm reservation and were valid until the confirmation deadline communicated by the campsite. In the absence of written confirmation and payment of the deposit by the deadline, the option is automatically cancelled without notice or compensation, and the 2025 rate is no longer guaranteed. Any modification of an existing option (dates, type of accommodation, duration, number of people, etc.) will automatically result in the loss of the 2025 rate and the recalculation of the stay according to the rates in force at the time of conversion into a reservation. The campsite reserves the right to check the conformity of files benefiting from this offer and to adjust the rate in the event of non-compliance with the initial conditions. No claim or compensation will be accepted in this respect.

2.3 – Fidelium offer

Camping La Clape Village offers a “Fidelium” loyalty program designed to thank its regular customers. This program, accessible after 5 consecutive years of stay under the same name, comprises three levels: Bronze, Silver and Gold, depending on the customer’s length of stay. Members benefit from free booking fees, priority site selection and, for the most loyal (Fidelium Gold, from age 20), a welcome gift on arrival (while stocks last). Benefits are personal, non-transferable, cannot be combined with other promotions and are reserved for direct Bookings.

The full terms and conditions of the Fidelium program are set out in a dedicated appendix available on request or on the campsite’s official website.

2.3 – Included / Not included

Article 3: Cancellation and change of stay

3.1 – Cancellation of stay

In the event of cancellation, Cottage Parks will apply the following conditions:

Any booking not paid 30 days before the tenant’s arrival will be considered automatically cancelled, without any further reminder from us and without any refund of deposits or compensation for the tenant.
In the event of a bank rejection of the balance payment cheque, and without any rectification from you within 48 hours, the booking will be automatically cancelled, without any refund of deposits or compensation for the tenant.
In the event of cancellation, we retain 100% of the total amount of your stay. All cancellations must be notified by e-mail to contact@camping-laclape.com
In the event of a no-show, and without any information from you, your accommodation will no longer be considered available after midnight. In this case, we will retain 100% of the cost of your stay.
In the event of a reduction in the length of your stay for any reason whatsoever, Cottage Parks will under no circumstances be obliged to reimburse the hirer for the sums corresponding to this reduction.
These provisions will not apply if the tenant demonstrates that he is in a case of force majeure within the meaning of Article 1148 of the Civil Code.
NB: As COVID-19 has been listed as a worldwide pandemic since March 11, 2020, these consequences are no longer unforeseeable or unexpected. As a result, COVID-19 no longer falls within the scope of the force majeure cancellation policy.

3.2 – Cancellation guarantee

The cancellation guarantee is optional and payable in addition to the rental price at the same time as the deposit. If you subscribe to the optional Cancellation Guarantee (see price list), you are guaranteed: reimbursement of all sums paid, excluding handling fees and Cancellation Guarantee. The cancellation guarantee covers 100% of the cost of the stay if the cancellation occurs more than 7 days before the start of the stay, and 75% if it occurs within 7 days of the start of the stay. The guarantee applies if the impediment concerns the customer, his or her spouse, the persons designated on the rental contract, his or her ascendants or descendants or those of his or her spouse, and is caused by one of the following causes only:
Death, an illness unknown at the time of booking or an accident occurring after the booking;
Death that may occur to the customer’s ascendants or descendants: brothers, sisters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law…
Administrative, judicial, military or jury duty.
Impediment justified by dismissal, refusal of leave by the employer, transfer of the customer or his/her spouse, or bankruptcy of the company of which the customer is manager. To be effective, the guarantee in case of illness or accident must be justified by a medical prescription dated less than one month before the date of arrival. All cancellations MUST be notified in writing to the manager of your accommodation no later than 24 hours before arrival in order to benefit from the cancellation guarantee. You have 10 days from the date of cancellation to send us the necessary proof(s), dated and signed: medical certificate, death certificate or employer’s certificate, as the case may be. Once all the necessary documents have been received and validated, reimbursement will be made within 1 month.

3.3 – Booking changes

All requests for changes (dates of stay, number of people, type of accommodation, etc.) must be made in writing and will be subject to acceptance by Camping La Clape Village, subject to availability. No modification can be guaranteed. In the event of a postponement to a later season or a change of accommodation category, the applicable price difference will be invoiced. If the modification results in a reduction of the initial amount of the stay, this reduction will not give rise to any reimbursement.

Article 4 – Course of the stay

As required by law, all customers must adhere to our internal regulations, which have been filed with the prefecture, posted at our reception and a copy of which is available on request.

4.1 – Arrivals and departures

Rentals: arrivals from 5:00 pm, departures before 10:00 am.

Pitches with private sanitary facilities: arrivals from 3pm, departures before 11am.

If your accommodation or pitch is not vacated at the time indicated, an additional night at the current rate will be charged to your deposit without being able to stay the said night.

4.2 – Parking on arrival

For everyone’s convenience, customers are asked to park in the free parking lot opposite the campsite until they have checked in at Reception. Access to the site is booked for authorized vehicles only. Parking within the campsite grounds is possible only with the agreement of the management, and only for unloading purposes. Unauthorized vehicles will be subject to additional charges in accordance with the internal regulations.

4.3 – Security deposit

A deposit must be paid prior to arrival via the Swikly service before the keys are handed over or access to the pitch is granted. No cheques will be accepted. This deposit covers any damage, loss of equipment, or cleaning charges not paid at the end of the stay. No keys will be issued without a valid deposit.

100€ for pitches with private sanitary facilities
300€ for rental accommodation
600€ for tribal cottages
The deposit will be returned to you within 48 to 72 hours of your departure, after checking that the accommodation is in a perfect state of cleanliness and that no damage has been caused (breakages other than crockery, theft, garbage not thrown out, etc.). If any damage is found, or if the housework has not been done properly, a charge will be made against your deposit. Before any debit, we will notify you by e-mail, and then collect the sums necessary to restore the rental.

It will be necessary to make an appointment with reception for an inventory of fixtures on the day of your departure:

If you have deposited a cash deposit
If you are accompanied by a pet
An additional deposit may be required for any other special service.

4.4 – Site surveys

Camping La Clape Village makes every effort to welcome its guests in the best possible conditions. However, on your arrival, we ask you to check the inventory (QR Code in your accommodation) and the general condition of your accommodation. If you notice any anomalies, please notify the campsite reception by e-mail within 24 hours, adding photos if necessary: contact@camping-laclape.com

After this period, holidaymakers acknowledge that the inventory and accommodation are in order. This will enable reception to intervene as soon as possible if necessary, but also to avoid any dispute over the return of your deposit after your departure.

4.5 – Our accommodation & facilities

Depending on the layout and the variety of accommodation on offer, there may be some differences in the configuration, age and decoration of the chalets. We remind you that any request for a specific orientation or situation is an additional paying service: “pitch choice option” (see price list). If you don’t choose this option when you make your Book, you can specify a pitch that meets your requirements, and we’ll do our utmost to accommodate you. However, this does not constitute a contractual guarantee. We cannot be held responsible for any nuisance related to :

Repair work carried out by our technicians, a public company or a third party
Any event external to the campsite
The campsite may occasionally have to close a play area or the aquatic area in the event of a technical problem that could lead to a lack of safety for our customers.

4.6 – Housekeeping

End-of-stay cleaning must be carried out by guests, except for Pool, Tribu Pool and Seaview accommodations, for which cleaning is included. You’ll be reminded of the procedure in your accommodation. If you do not wish to do the housework yourself, you can choose the “housework package” option at an additional cost. The price of the cleaning package depends on the type of accommodation rented (see price list). If the cleaning package is taken out on the day of your departure, a surcharge will be applied.

Housekeeping, whether included in the package or not, requires you to empty your accommodation’s garbage cans, wash used crockery and collect all your personal waste. If you fail to comply with the cleaning/cleaning procedure indicated in your accommodation, you will be billed for an additional cleaning fee, which will be deducted from your deposit (see price list).

4.7 – Noise and silence

In order to ensure the well-being of the community, all holidaymakers are expected to behave respectfully and ensure the peace and quiet of their neighbors. Campsite users must avoid any excessive noise or discussion likely to disturb their neighbors. Absolute silence is required between 11.00 pm and 7.00 am. Sound equipment must be set at a reasonable volume, and the use of portable speakers is forbidden in communal areas (swimming pool, sanitary facilities, walkways, etc.). Disrespectful behavior towards staff or other guests may result in immediate exclusion from the campsite, without refund or compensation.

4.6 – Rental insurance

The customer must check with his insurance company that he has a holiday extension as part of his home insurance policy and its coverage conditions. If this is not the case, the tenant must insure against the risks inherent in his occupation. These include accident, theft, loss and damage to personal effects (suitcases, objects, furniture, valuables, vehicles, bicycles, etc.). They must also take out insurance to cover any damage they or their companions may cause to the rented accommodation or the campsite. Customers must provide proof of their insurance cover on first request. When renting or lending bicycles, customers are required to insure against theft, loss or damage.

Article 5 – Aquatic areas and private pools

Access to the aquatic area is booked exclusively for campsite residents wearing their wristband. Outside visitors are not admitted.
