Here you’ll find answers to the most frequently asked questions about our La Clape Village campsite in Cap d’Agde: bookings, conditions of stay, accommodation, aquatic facilities, entertainment, services and practical information to help you prepare for your stay with peace of mind.

Opening & reception

When is the campsite open?

Our campsite in Cap d’Agde is open from late March to early November.

What are the reception hours?

Reception opening hours are 8:30am to 7pm on weekdays and up to 8pm at weekends in high season. Out of season, reception is open from 9am to 7pm, depending on the season (spring, September and school vacations).

Access & location

Where is Camping La Clape Village located?

The campsite is located at 2 rue du Gouverneur, 34300 Agde, in the immediate vicinity of Cap d’Agde and the beaches.

How do I get to the campsite by car?

Access is via the A9 freeway, exit Agde-Pézenas no. 34, direction Cap d’Agde, then port center and Môle district.

How do I get there by train?

The Agde SNCF train station is nearby. SNCF sales points are available at the station all year round and at Cap d’Agde from June to September.

How do I get there by plane?

The nearest airports are Béziers (15 km) and Montpellier Méditerranée (60 km), with national and international connections.

Pets & house rules

Are dogs allowed on the campsite?

Dogs are welcome throughout the season, with a maximum of 1 per rental and 2 per pitch, excluding categories 1 and 2. Vaccinations up to date, leash compulsory and dog waste collection required.

Can minors stay on their own?

Minors not accompanied by a parent or legal guardian are not admitted. Failure to comply will result in cancellation of the stay without reimbursement, and no exceptions will be accepted.

Are outside visitors allowed?

Visitors must register at reception, pay the fee and wear a wristband. Access to the aquatic area and vehicles is prohibited. During peak periods, visits may be refused.

Are barbecues allowed?

A collective charcoal barbecue is available, unless restricted by the prefecture. Charcoal or wood barbecues are prohibited on the plots. Electric (≤ 2000 W) and flameless gas models are tolerated.

Book & pay

When do I have to pay the balance of my reservation?

The balance of the stay must be paid 30 days before the arrival date. Full details are given in the confirmation email.

Which payment methods are accepted?

We accept credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro), cash, bank transfers, ANCV vacation vouchers (paper and Connect). American Express is not accepted.

Do you accept VACAF vouchers?

Camping La Clape Village is not VACAF certified and does not accept this method of payment.

Do you accept the ACSI card?

The ACSI card is not accepted on the campsite.

Cancellation & insurance

What are the refund conditions with the cancellation guarantee?

With the optional cancellation guarantee (see price list), the sums paid are reimbursed, excluding booking fees and cancellation guarantee. The refund is 100% of the cost of the stay if the cancellation is made more than 7 days before the start of the stay, and 75% if the cancellation is made within 7 days of arrival.
The Black Friday special offer does not entitle you to a refund, but to a credit note, even with the warranty.

When does the cancellation guarantee apply and what are the steps involved?

The cancellation guarantee applies if the impediment concerns the customer, his/her spouse or the persons designated in the contract (ascendants, descendants or those of the spouse) and results exclusively from death, illness unknown at the time of booking, accident, administrative, judicial, military or jury duty, redundancy, refusal of leave by the employer, transfer or bankruptcy of the customer’s or spouse’s company. Dated and signed supporting documents must be sent within 10 days of cancellation.

Arrivals & departures

What are the arrival and departure times for rentals?

Arrivals in our mobile home rentals are from 5pm and departures before 10am. For arrivals after 7pm, please contact reception in advance.

What are the opening hours for pitches?

Nur camping pitches with private sanitary facilities are available from 3pm and must be vacated by 11am on the day of departure.

Accommodation & capacity

Is it possible to exceed the maximum capacity of an accommodation?

For reasons of safety, comfort and insurance, the maximum capacity indicated must be strictly respected, whatever the age of the occupants.

Is the accommodation air-conditioned?

All our rental accommodation is fully air-conditioned.

Baby equipment, linen & housekeeping

Is the accommodation equipped for babies?

Baby equipment available at extra cost: cot, high chair and bathtub. As quantities are limited, advance bookings are strongly recommended.

Is bed linen provided?

Bed linen is included in certain ranges (Bali, Nusa, Seaview, Pool, Cosy, Cocoon, Tribu). For other accommodations, it can be rented.

Are towels provided?

Towels are only included in the Bali, Nusa, Seaview, Pool, Cosy and Tribu ranges. They are not provided in other accommodations.

Is end-of-stay cleaning included?

Housekeeping is included in Seaview, Pool and Tribu Pool cottages only. For all other cottages, a cleaning package is available at extra cost, excluding crockery and waste management.

Parking & traffic

Can I drive and park on the campsite?

Traffic is permitted only if a parking space is included or rented. Otherwise, access is limited to unloading, with parking in the free outdoor parking lot.

Can I leave my luggage if I arrive early?

Luggage can be dropped off at reception before check-in time. However, we do not offer refrigerated storage solutions for foodstuffs.

Swimming pools & aquatic areas

What outfits are allowed in the pool?

Men must wear briefs or boxer shorts, women a 1 or 2-piece swimsuit. Children may wear an anti-UV T-shirt.

Are there slides in the water park?

The water park features 3 Aquasplash slides, accessible from 1.20 m, under parental supervision. The equipment is designed to guarantee fun and safety.

Is there a special area for young children?

An aquatic play area is especially dedicated to the little ones, with water games adapted for safe fun.

Entertainment & atmosphere

Does the campsite offer entertainment all season long?

Entertainment is available from opening to closing. The program varies according to the season, with a quieter atmosphere in the off-season and a stronger program during the school vacations and summer.

What off-season events are planned?

Out of season, adult activities (sports, fitness, social events) are offered during the day and evening, mainly on weekends. During the April vacations, activities are extended to the whole family.

What activities are on offer in high season?

In high season, our campsite offers daytime and evening entertainment, a kids’ club (4-12 years), a teenagers’ club (13-17 years) and professional shows.

Is there a kids' club at Camping La Clape Village?

The Cotti Club welcomes children aged 4 to 12 in July and August, 4 days a week, from 10am to 12pm and from 3pm to 5pm, with fun, sports, creative and biodiversity activities.

Are there any activities for teenagers?

A Teens Club is available for teenagers aged 13 to 17 in high season, with age-appropriate activities that encourage socializing, sports and fun.

Are there any evening shows?

Shows and festive evenings are scheduled throughout the summer, with outside artists, groups and service providers. The program is announced on site and may change according to the season.

Who is Cotti, the campsite mascot?

Cotti is the campsite mascot. Through his adventures, he raises children’s awareness of environmental protection, waste sorting and biodiversity, in a fun and educational way.

Shops & catering

Where to shop at the campsite?

A grocery store with hot spot is available on site. The campsite also has a shared vegetable garden, with vegetables grown in the heart of the village.

Is there a restaurant on the campsite?

The La Paillote Beach restaurant offers pizzas, burgers, meats, fish and salads, to eat in or take away, in a bohemian chic atmosphere right by the aquatic area.

Is Camping La Clape Village committed to an eco-responsible approach?

Camping La Clape Village is part of Cottage Parks’ eco-responsible approach to sustainable tourism, coastal preservation and holidaymaker well-being. This global approach integrates environmental, social and local economic considerations.

Eco-responsible approaches

What concrete steps is the campsite taking to protect the environment?

Concrete actions are implemented: reduction of water and energy consumption, LED and solar lighting, rational management of swimming pools, waste sorting, composting, tree planting and protection of biodiversity within the campsite.

Does Camping La Clape Village have any environmental labels or certifications?

The campsite has held the Green Key label since 2023, an international recognition of sustainable tourism. It is also part of a continuous improvement process with the aim of obtaining the European Ecolabel.

Can holidaymakers take part in the campsite's ecological approach?

Holidaymakers are invited to adopt simple gestures such as sorting waste, using water and air-conditioning sparingly, travelling gently, consuming locally and reducing the use of single-use plastics, to actively contribute to a more responsible holiday.

Wellness, sport & soft activities

Does the campsite offer a wellness area?

Camping La Clape Village features a wellness area dedicated to massages, body treatments, facials and foot reflexology. The Institut by La Clape welcomes holidaymakers by appointment, Tuesday to Friday, 10am to 7pm, using products that respect the skin and the environment.

Is there a gym at Camping La Clape Village?

A Naturafit gym is available, open 7 days a week from 6am to 11pm. It offers cardio, weights and changing rooms, with preferential rates for campsite guests.

Are yoga classes offered during the stay?

Yoga classes are offered all season long, in the studio, outdoors or on the beach, led by a certified coach. Sessions are available to all levels, by the session or as a subscription, with special rates for holidaymakers.

Can I practice Pilates at the campsite?

Pilates classes are held in an air-conditioned studio on the campsite. Sessions last 60 minutes and are accessible to all levels, focusing on gentle strengthening, posture and breathing.
