Rules of procedure

1- Admission requirements

To be allowed to enter, settle and stay at Camping La Clape Village, you must have been authorized to do so by the Management or a member of the reception staff.

The management is responsible for maintaining the good order of the campsite and for ensuring compliance with these rules and regulations.

Staying on the La Clape Village campsite in Cap d’Agde implies unreserved acceptance of the provisions of these regulations and a commitment to comply with them. No customer may reside on the campsite all year round.

Minors not accompanied by a parent, ascendant or legal guardian are not admitted. The age of participants will be checked on the day of arrival. Failure to comply with this rule will result in cancellation of the booking; the stay will remain due and no refund will be made. No exceptions will be tolerated.

The maximum capacity indicated for each accommodation or pitch may under no circumstances be exceeded.

For reasons of safety and comfort, children of all ages are included in the calculation of this capacity. Any excess will result in refusal of access to the establishment or immediate termination of the rental contract, without compensation or reimbursement.

2- POLICE FORMALITIES

Anyone wishing to stay at the campsite for at least one night must first present themselves at reception with a valid form of identification, complete the formalities required by the police and pay the fee. Minors not accompanied by an ascending parent or legal guardian are not admitted.

3- INSTALLATION

Tents, camper vans or caravans and related equipment must be set up on the specified pitch in accordance with the instructions given by the management. Only one installation is included in the daily rate. Any additional installation will be billed (see price list). The vehicle must be parked in the precise location indicated by the reception staff. Tents or other installations are not permitted on the plot of your rental accommodation.

4- RECEPTION DESK

Reception hours can be consulted on our website, at the campsite entrance and in the digital welcome booklet accessible via a QR code. Reception is at your service to make your stay as pleasant as possible: information on campsite services, sports facilities, tourist attractions in the surrounding area, useful addresses, campsite events, reporting technical problems, making appointments for site inspections, etc. Any inappropriate behavior towards our staff (aggressiveness, insults, threats, inappropriate gestures, lack of respect, etc.) may lead to immediate exclusion of the members concerned from the stay, without reimbursement or compensation. Similarly, proper dress is required in Reception.

5- royalties

Campsite rentals for tents, caravans and motorhomes.

The total cost of your stay must be paid no later than 30 days before your arrival. Please present your booking confirmation and proof of identity at reception on the day of arrival, from 3pm for pitches with private sanitary facilities. Fees are posted at the entrance to the campsite and are also available at www.camping-laclape.com. They are payable according to the number of nights spent on the site and for departure before 11 a.m., after which an additional night is charged. Tourist tax and eco-participation are also due and must be paid.

Furnished rentals

The total amount of the reservation must be paid no later than 30 days before your arrival. You must present your booking confirmation and proof of identity at reception on the day of your arrival (from 5pm for accommodation). Service charges are displayed at the entrance to the campsite and are also available at www.camping-laclape.com. They are payable according to the number of nights spent on the site. Customers arriving without a reservation must pay for their stay and the taxes due on arrival, according to the rates displayed at the entrance to the reception and the campsite. The tourist tax and eco-participation are also due and must be paid. These sums are due according to the number of nights spent on the site and for departure before 10 a.m. Beyond this time, an additional night will be charged for pitches and accommodation.

6- ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES

For rentals: arrivals from 5:00 p.m., departures before 10:00 a.m. Pitches with private sanitary facilities: arrivals from 3pm, departures before 11am. If your accommodation or pitch is not vacated at the time indicated, an additional night at the current rate will be charged to your deposit. The handover of the keys is subject to a compulsory deposit via Swikly, to be made prior to arrival. Cheques are not accepted.

Parking on arrival :

For everyone’s convenience, please park in the free, shaded parking lot opposite the campsite on the day of your arrival, while you check in at reception. Vehicles are not included in the Book. In exceptional circumstances, access to the campsite may be authorized for unloading, subject to conditions and the agreement of the management. Unauthorized vehicles are not allowed to circulate or park on the premises. Failure to comply will result in additional charges. For high vehicles, parking is available in front of the reception building, before the barriers.

7- NOISE AND SILENCE – ANIMALS

7.1 -Noise and silence

Campground users must avoid any noise or discussion that might disturb their neighbors. Sound equipment should be adjusted accordingly. Doors and trunks must be closed as discreetly as possible. There should be complete silence between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. If you notice or experience any disturbance during your stay, please do not hesitate to contact our security service, who will be able to intervene if necessary: 04.67.26.41.32

7.2 – Pets

So that we can continue to welcome your 4-legged companions in the best conditions, we ask you to respect these few rules: – 1st category “attack dogs” (pit bulls) and 2nd category “guard and defense dogs” (Rottweilers and types…) are forbidden on the campsite. – Pets must be kept on a leash. – Pet owners are required to pick up after their pets to keep the campsite clean. – Only one pet is allowed in our furnished accommodation. We ask you to respect the furniture and bedding. Failure to do so may result in a higher cleaning charge (see price list). – Undeclared pets, or pets exceeding the limit of one dog per accommodation, will result in cancellation of the stay without refund. – Dogs and other animals must not be left free, or even locked up, on the campsite in the absence of their owners, who are civilly responsible for them. – Dogs and cats must be presented with their health records at the entrance to the campsite, and must wear a collar. In accordance with article 211-1 of the French rural code, and the decrees and ministerial orders governing its application. – An appointment must be scheduled to check the condition of the accommodation.

8- VISITORS

After being authorized by the management or reception staff, visitors may be admitted to the campsite under the responsibility of the campers receiving them. Campers must be present at reception to welcome visitors. Identification or a deposit will be required. If these visitors are admitted to the campsite, the camper receiving them must pay a fee. This fee is posted at the entrance to the campsite and at the reception desk. Visitors’ cars are not allowed on the campsite. Visitors do not have access to the water park and children’s clubs.

NB: In the event of overcrowding, the management reserves the right to close the campsite to visitors at weekends in July and August.

9- VEHICLE TRAFFIC AND PARKING

To preserve the peace and quiet of all campers, traffic within the campsite is strictly forbidden between 11:00 pm and 7:00 am. Access to the site is by automatic license plate recognition only. The maximum speed allowed on the campsite is 10 km/h. The direction of traffic must be respected. No vehicle is included in the booking (except Seaview, Pool and Cocoon) and access by car is an additional service, subject to availability. Failure to comply with traffic regulations will result in the invoicing of additional charges and, in the event of repeated abuse, the reservation may be cancelled without refund.

If you wish, you can park in the free, shaded parking lot opposite the campsite.

For everyone’s convenience, on the day of your arrival, please park in the free parking lot opposite the campsite while you check in at Reception. This will avoid long traffic jams at the barrier. Secondary vehicles are no longer allowed on the site, but can park free of charge in the public parking lot.

10- MAINTENANCE AND APPEARANCE

It is forbidden to dispose of waste water on the ground or in the gutters. Caravanners must empty their waste water into the facilities provided for this purpose. Household garbage, paper and waste of any kind must be deposited at the campsite entrance in the containers for selective sorting (paper, plastic, glass, compost). Compost buckets are the property of the campsite. Batteries and light bulbs should be disposed of in the containers provided at reception. It is the responsibility of everyone to refrain from any action that could damage the cleanliness, hygiene and appearance of the campsite and its facilities, in particular the sanitary facilities. Washing is strictly forbidden outside the bins provided for this purpose.

Laundry must be hung on a drying rack only. It is strictly forbidden to use the trees on the campsite to hang and dry your laundry. Laundry must be hung in the electric dryers (laundromat). It is however tolerated́ on condition that it is very discreet and does not disturb neighbors. Plantations and floral decorations must be respected. It is forbidden for the camper to drive nails into trees, cut branches or make plantations. It is also forbidden to demarcate the site of an installation by personal means, or to dig up the ground. Any damage to vegetation, fences, grounds or campsite facilities will be charged to the person responsible. The pitch used during the stay must be maintained in the condition in which the camper found it́ on entering the premises. It is forbidden to store equipment or materials around or under caravans and tents, incompatible with the proper maintenance of the campsite.

11- Sheets and towels

Bed linen and towels are provided clean and in good condition for the duration of the stay. Occupants are asked to use them with respect and to keep them clean. Excessive soiling or damage may result in additional charges. For stays of more than 2 weeks, occupants of accommodation with linen included can request a change of linen and towels at reception, which will be carried out the day after the request is made. For kit rentals made at reception, any request for a change is considered as a new rental.

12- SAFETY

12.1 – Fire

Open fires (wood, coal, etc.) are strictly forbidden. Stoves must be kept in good working order and must not be used in dangerous conditions. In the event of fire, notify management immediately. Fire extinguishers may be used if necessary. Any misuse is forbidden.

12.2 – Health

A first-aid kit is available at each service station. A defibrillator and emergency numbers are available at reception.

12.3 – Barbecue

Collective barbecue: Charcoal barbecues are only permitted at the collective barbecue at Camping La Clape Village.

Barbecues on your pitch or accommodation: Charcoal or wood barbecues are forbidden on your pitch or accommodation. Gas barbecues are authorized if, and only if, they have no flame. Electric barbecues are tolerated if their maximum power does not exceed 2000W and if the holidaymaker undertakes not to use other powerful appliances at the same time so as not to exceed the electrical power of his accommodation or pitch.

12.4 – Electrical appliances

Each site has a power supply limited to 10 amperes. Appliances must not exceed this capacity. The simultaneous use of energy-hungry appliances, such as heaters, air conditioners or large household appliances, is strictly forbidden to avoid any electrical overload. Failure to comply with this rule may result in power cuts or penalties. To ensure the safety and comfort of all our guests, we thank you for respecting this limit.

12.5 – Theft

The Management declines all responsibility in the event of theft from pitches or rentals. Campers are responsible for their own facilities and must report any suspicious persons to the campsite manager. Campground users are asked to take the usual precautions

to safeguard their equipment.

13 – games

No violent or disruptive games may be played in the vicinity of the facilities. The use of children’s play areas is subject to specific regulations posted at the entrance to the facilities. Children must always be supervised by their parents.

14- DEAD GARAGE

No unoccupied equipment may be left on the site.

15- DISPLAY

These rules and regulations are posted at the entrance to the campsite and at the reception desk. They will be given to customers on request. They can also be consulted on our website www.camping-laclape.com

16- BREACHES OF INTERNAL REGULATIONS AND ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR

In the event of a resident disrupting the stay of other users, or failing to comply with the provisions of these rules and regulations, the Management will issue a written warning if necessary. If the offences continue, the Management will evict all holidaymakers from the accommodation or pitch causing the disturbance, without compensation or reimbursement. The following offences and incivilities (non-exhaustive list) will lead to a warning, followed by expulsion if necessary:

Noise pollution
Driving inside the campsite between 11pm and 7am
Non-compliance with campsite rules
Insults, aggression, threats, inappropriate gestures, lack of respect… to campsite staff and other holidaymakers
Uncleaned dog faeces
Bins left on terraces or pitches
We would like to draw your attention to the fact that the gulls present on the campsite attack the garbage cans left there, scattering all the garbage around the campsite. We therefore ask you to be extremely vigilant. In the event of a criminal offence, the manager will call in the police.

17- LPG VEHICLES

All LPG-equipped vehicles must be registered at reception.

18- ELECTRIC VEHICLES

It is strictly forbidden to charge your electric vehicle on a lodging or any other unregulated place.

19- AQUATIC AREA & PRIVATE POOLS

The water park at Camping la Clape Village is open every day during the campsite’s opening hours. Opening times are posted at the entrance to the water park. To enter, you need to remove your shoes, pass through the foot bath and take a shower. Swimwear permitted: swimming trunks, one-piece or two-piece swimsuits. Shorts, Bermuda shorts, T-shirts or burkinis are not permitted. Children may only swim under parental supervision. Minors under 10 years of age may not enter the pool unaccompanied. It is forbidden to smoke, eat, drink, run, push or use sound equipment in the aquatic area.

Deckchairs may not be booked with personal items. Wristbands must be worn, and red wristbands are issued to minors and non-swimmers. The lagoon is an ornamental pool intended for visual relaxation only. Any improper use is the responsibility of the camper. Private pools and jacuzzis are cleaned before each stay. Additional cleaning can be requested from reception (24-hour delay). Whirlpool baths are also cleaned before each stay and must be filled by the occupants according to their needs. The campsite declines all responsibility for any failure to comply with these rules. To avoid disappointment, please do not leave valuable footwear at the entrance.

20- CLAIMS MANAGEMENT

Any complaint concerning a stay must be sent by e-mail to sav@cottageparks.fr. To be taken into account, this complaint must reach Cottageparks Méditerranée no later than 15 days after the end of the services. Any negative or abusive comment posted on the web before a written complaint has been sent by e-mail to sav@cottageparks.fr will not entitle the user to any compensation. Similarly, any inappropriate or disrespectful behavior towards our staff will not entitle you to any compensation, whatever the problems encountered during your stay.
