Introducing Meeting Cox Toujours
What is the Cox Toujours Meeting?
The must-attend event for fans of iconic VolksWagen models!
Created 32 years ago by the Cox Toujours club, in partnership with the Tourist Office, this event in Cap d’Agde brings together enthusiasts of the brand’s retro cars, with exhibitions, conferences, exchanges and entertainment over two days in September.
The 14th edition in 2006 marked a real turning point for this event. With around 1,000 participants and 400 cars exhibited in Cap d’Agde, from all over France and Europe, the Cox meeting has become a must-attend event, thanks to its enriched program and the crowds it attracts.
In 2025, the Meeting Cox Toujours is back with an even more vintage and offbeat atmosphere to blow your mind.
Come and enjoy a weekend in Cape Town and admire little restored VW gems, hunt for rare parts and meet passionate collectors.
The air-cooled attitude: beetles and combi at Cap d’Agde
As you can see, the Meeting Cox Toujours showcases VolksWagen’s legendary models:
- its famous Beetle, the most mass-produced vehicle in the history of the automobile, with over 21 million units sold
- the combi, a symbol of freedom and “flower power”, this utility vehicle is often converted into an exploration van or collector’s item.
These models feature an air-cooled engine, hence the name “air-cooled”, and are renowned for their mechanical reliability and retro charm.
Meeting Cox Toujours 2025, on the agenda?
There’s no doubt that Meeting Cox Toujours will leave you with memories of a weekend out of the ordinary!
On the program:

What to do in Cap d’Agde in September?
In addition to the Meeting Cox Toujours, the month of September has many other not-to-be-missed events in Cap d’Agde. In early September, the Brescoudos take over the streets with their impressive gathering of motorcycles and trikes, creating a vibrant and unique atmosphere. Long summer evenings also offer the opportunity to stroll through the night markets, where craft stalls, local produce and live music mingle along the illuminated quays.
To complete your stay, the beaches of Cap d’Agde welcome you with their fine sand and pleasantly temperate waters. Sea lovers will enjoy boat trips: coastal cruises, sea fishing or peaceful strolls on the Canal du Midi. Finally, heritage enthusiasts can explore Agde’s historic center, admire the majestic Saint-Étienne cathedral, or explore the Musée de l’Éphèbe and its archaeological treasures.
