Frequently Asked Questions

CottageParks is committed to welcoming your companions all year round, with a limit of one animal per rental unit and no limit on the number of pitches (categories 1 and 2 are prohibited).

 

For the well-being of all holidaymakers, we would ask you to respect a few simple rules: health record and vaccination up to date, dog kept on a lead on the campsite premises and compulsory removal of droppings.

No, we do not accept ACSI cards.

Minors who are not accompanied by a parent or legal guardian are not admitted to Camping La Clape Village. The age of participants will be checked on arrival. Failure to comply with this rule will result in cancellation of the booking, the stay will remain due and no refund will be made. No exceptions will be made.

For the well-being of all our holidaymakers, two areas have been created at La Clape Village:
– a pedestrian area reserved exclusively for families

– a mixed area for families and friends.
As a reminder, respect for other holidaymakers is essential in this area.

 

If the composition of your holiday does not seem to fit in with the environment of the area, your reservation may be modified or cancelled.

  • Bank transfer

    However, we do not accept American Express cards.

If you take out the optional Cancellation Guarantee (see price list), you are guaranteed :
– reimbursement of the sums paid, excluding administrative costs and Cancellation Guarantee.
The cancellation guarantee covers 100% of the cost of the holiday if the cancellation is made more than 7 days before the start of the holiday, and 75% if it is made within 7 days of the start of the holiday.
– a pro rata refund of the rental price, excluding administration costs, Cancellation Guarantee and cleaning costs, if you have to leave the rented accommodation before the scheduled expiry date.

 

The guarantee applies if the customer, his or her spouse, the persons named on the rental contract, his or her ascendants or descendants or those of his or her spouse, are prevented from leaving by one of the following causes alone:
– Death, an illness unknown at the time of booking the holiday or an accident occurring after the holiday has been booked;
– Death of the customer’s ascendants or descendants: brothers, sisters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, etc.
– A summons from an administrative, judicial or military authority or as a juror.
– Impediment due to redundancy, refusal of leave by the employer, transfer of the customer or their spouse, or bankruptcy of the company of which the customer is manager.

 

You have 10 days from the date of cancellation to send us the necessary proof(s), dated and signed: medical certificate, death certificate or employer’s certificate, as appropriate.

NB: We remind you that the special Black Friday offer does not entitle you to a refund but to a credit note if you have taken out the cancellation guarantee.

Check-out time for rentals: 10am

Arrival time for bare pitches: from 2 p.m

Arrival time for pitches with private sanitary facilities: from 3 p.m.

If you arrive after 7pm, please contact reception by email at contact@camping-laclape.com or by telephone on 04 67 26 41 32 to find out how to proceed.

 

Check-out time for all pitches: 12 pm

The maximum capacity of the accommodation must be strictly respected, whatever the age of the children, for reasons of comfort, safety and insurance.

 

For the Cocoon cottages, the Pool cottages and the Tribu Pool cottages only, we only allow one extra child, provided they are under 2 years old. Please specify when booking.

Camping La Clape Village offers the following facilities for young children for hire at an additional cost (see price list):

  • Baby bath
  • High chair

    As the quantities available are limited, we advise you to book as soon as possible by contacting Reception by e-mail at contact@camping-laclape.com or by telephone on 04 67 26 41 32.

Driving inside the campsite is prohibited between 11pm and 7am. The rest of the time, please respect the 10km/h speed limit and the direction of traffic.

 

The price of your stay includes parking for one vehicle inside the campsite. Additional vehicles will be charged (see price list).

For the 4-bedroom Cottages Tribu and Privilège only, two vehicles are included in the rental price.

 

A free, shaded car park is also available just in front of the campsite. On the day of your arrival, for everyone’s convenience, we ask you to use this car park while you check in at Reception. If you do not check in beforehand, you will not be able to pass through the campsite entrance gates.

While you prepare your accommodation or pitch, we can of course store your luggage at reception. Please note that we do not have the necessary equipment to keep your foodstuffs cool.

Bed linen is provided in our Cosy, Cocoon, Seaview, Pool and Tribu Pool cottages. It is not included in our other accommodation, where you can bring your own sheets or buy a disposable and compostable bedding kit at reception: €11 for a single sheet and €17 for a double sheet.

Bathroom linen is only provided in the Cosy, Cocoon, Seaview, Pool and Tribu Pool Cottages.

They are not included in our other accommodation.

End-of-stay cleaning is included for Seaview, Pool and Tribu Pool cottages only.

 

For all other rental accommodation, this service may be purchased at an additional cost (see price list).

 

Out of respect for our teams, the cleaning package does not exempt you from emptying the bins in your accommodation, washing and putting away used crockery and collecting all your rubbish and personal belongings.

All our accommodation is air-conditioned, except for the Essentiel / Basik range.

Yes, the private pools in the Pool, Tribu Pool, Privilège Aqua and Seaview Family cottages are heated (except July-August). The same applies to the shared pool in the Cocoon cottages (excluding July and August).

Visitors must register at reception, pay the fee and wear a wristband. Visitors are not allowed in the aquatic area and may not bring their own vehicle.

 

NB: In the event of high visitor numbers, the management reserves the right to close the campsite to visitors at weekends in July and August.

A communal charcoal barbecue is available on the campsite (unless otherwise authorised by the prefect).

 

Charcoal or wood barbecues are strictly forbidden in your accommodation and on your respective plots. Gas barbecues are tolerated if, and only if, they have no flame. Electric barbecues are tolerated if their maximum power does not exceed 2000W.

An entertainment programme is planned throughout the campsite’s opening period.

The programme is reinforced during the French school holidays and from 1 July to 31 August.

The mini-club is OPEN only during the school holidays and from 1 July to 31 August.

Entertainment in the village centre is likely to generate noise until midnight.

Our pool area, with two large pools and three slides, is OPEN from April to November.

One of the two pools is heated for your comfort, except in July and August.

A grocery shop with a hot spot is available in the heart of the village on the campsite.

 

Your La Clape Village campsite is a giant shared vegetable garden. Keep your eyes peeled around your accommodation and in the alleys of the campsite, vegetables have been planted everywhere. Pick and enjoy our delicious vegetables “made in La Clape”. We look forward to hearing from you…

Gather around a table in the heart of the village, in the sun or on the shady terrace, and discover La Nouba, the campsite restaurant.

You’ll be immersed in a relaxed, bohemian chic atmosphere that’s perfect for sharing good times and good humour!

Ideally situated next to the aquatic area, our restaurant serves pizzas, burgers, meat, fish and salads, to eat in or take away!
